Tri-Cities Soccer Association
Tri-Cities Soccer Association was established in 1977 as a not-for-profit organization - all fees and income from our Sponsor Partners and programs are invested into improving the soccer experience for over 4,000 Fox Valley area participants.
To maximize the experience for the over 4,000 participants our association is divided into four areas of participation: Hand in Hand, Recreational,Travel and Premier Programs.





















Managment and Marketing

Responsible for the updates on the website. Created and developed a new website for TCSA.

Develop and create brochures, flyers, videos, photo video to promote and advertise.

PROFESSIONAL RELATIONS
-
Important to the success of this position is the manner and style in which the PT works interdependently with soccer teams from numerous clubs, statewide efforts, regional and international programs.

Build synergy with amateur, professional, semi-professional, collegiate and high school programs.

Write articles, develop flyers, and brochures for TCSA newsletters, website and other events.

Develop, edit and revise the TCSA Coach’s Handbook.

Organize and plan workshops, seminars and other types of educational programs to be presented, upon request, at annual general meetings, schools, etc.

Maintain a positive image for the association.

Apply problem-solving skills in a manner revealing potential opportunities.

Be alert to practices that waste supplies, utilities and time. Keep work areas orderly.

Treat membership, volunteers, and staff in a friendly, courteous manner.



















Hand in Hand
HAND IN HAND: this program is part of the Recreational Program and serves approximately 100 preschool aged (under 5 years) participants and meets weekly to have fun with friends and family within a very structured soccer environment

Develop and coordinator the U-5 Program suitable for U5 recreational fun while learning soccer fundamentals.

This program was developed based upon the U6 model currently in use by TCSA for consistency in participant experience as they grow in the program.

The goal of this program is to encourage participation by an expanded number of youth and to engage future parent coaches by giving them first hand teaching knowledge by “being in the game” with their children. Implement the programs by hiring and training a staff of trainer/coaches and player assistants.





























Recreational Soccer
RECREATIONAL SOCCER: this largest of our programs involves some 3,600 participants in age groups of Under 6 coed, Under 7 boys and girls, Under 8 boys and girls, Under 9 boys and girls, Under 12 boys and girls, Under 14 boys and girls, and our coed group of High School aged participants, we call “Seniors”.

Responsible for developing programs within the framework established by Tri-Cities Soccer Association (TCSA) for training recreational players and coaches. By following the guidelines in place for players, parents, coaches and officials. Continue improving existing programs and develop new programs - all within a positive, fun environment where the experience of our youth participants is the primary focus.

Participate in the development of programs to engage and encourage current player participants and families to remain active in TCSA.

Participate in the development of programs to encourage new and/or younger participants and families to join the program.

Participate in developing programs and curricula to expand the knowledge and proficiencies of new and current coaches.

Monitor and report upon program effectiveness and continuously work to improve them.























Travel Soccer
TRAVEL SOCCER: this program runs under separate age, organization and participation rules dictated by: The Illinois Youth Soccer Association, and further, the Illinois Women’s Soccer League and the Northern Illinois Soccer League. This programs serves over 600 of our youth who are looking for a bit more of a challenge in and a commitment to soccer.

Train outdoor and indoor soccer teams during the season, assist with try-outs, assist during the soccer games.

As staff trainer/coach teach developing participants game fundamentals and tactics appropriate to their age (U8-U19 boys and girls).

Share knowledge of the game through positive, supportive methods and encourage participants to remain in the game because “it is fun”.





























Premier Soccer
PREMIER SOCCER: TCSA is adding a Premier Level. TCSA will be one of the only clubs in Illinois offering three levels of play. We are already the largest club in Illinois and adding the premier level will raise our profile and hopefully make us the largest and most sucessful club in the region. TCSA's goal has always been to provide every child with an opportinuty to play soccer at their highest level of capability.
